Storage Instructions

BEFORE OPENING: KEEP FROZEN AT -18°C OR BELOW.

AFTER OPENING: CLOSE THE BAG AND KEEP FROZEN AT -18°C OR BELOW.

Cooking Instructions and Suggestions

FOR BEST RESULTS COOK DIRECTLY FROM FROZEN.

The following cooking instructions are approximate guidelines for 250 g of product.

For different quantities adjust cooking times accordingly.

If thawed, do not refreeze.

STEAM
  1. In a pot, bring a small amount of water to the boil.
  2. Place 250 g McCain Sweet Potato in a sieve or colander and place over the boiling water.
  3. Cover with a pot lid and allow to steam for 10 minutes.
  4. Once cooked, season to taste.

MICROWAVE
  1. Place 250g McCain Sweet Potato Chunks in a suitable microwave container.
  2. Cover with cling wrap and pierce with a fork.
  3. Microwave on HIGH as per table below.

850 – 1000 W

5 minutes

  1. Once cooked, season to taste.

Place 250 g McCain Sweet Potato Chunks in boiling water and cook for 6½ minutes.
