Cooking Instructions and Suggestions

FOR BEST RESULTS COOK DIRECTLY FROM FROZEN.

Boil
  1. Place required quantity of Pumpkin Chunks into an equivalent amount of boiling water.
  2. Simmer for approximately 5 minutes.
  3. Do not cover the pot with a lid.
  4. Drain the water.
  5. Finish off in a pan with a little butter or olive oil.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.

Microwave
  1. Place 250g Pumpkin Chunks in a suitable microwave container.
  2. Cover with cling wrap and pierce with a fork.
  3. Microwave on HIGH as per table below.

 

650 – 750W

6 minutes

850 – 1000W

5 minutes

 

  1. Season with salt and pepper.

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  2. Spread the Pumpkin Chunks over a baking tray and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake for about 15 – 20 minutes or until the Pumpkin Chunks are cooked through.
